Oh, Pete…

Just when it seemed like he was turning it around, NME is reporting:

Pete Doherty allegedly tried to commit suicide while in his recent course of rehab.

According to his minder, Johnny ‘Headlock’ Jeannevol, the Babyshambles frontman tried to overdose on pills while in the Clouds House clinic in Wiltshire.

Claiming the singer had been upset over his break-up with model Kate Moss, the bodyguard told The News Of The World: “He saw an opportunity to take an overdose and took it. He told me he didn’t know what the pills were but thought ‘fuck it’ and took them all. He doesn’t care what drugs do to him-in fact, he likes finding out.”

Honestly, I’m not sure what to believe. We heard earlier this week he was engaged and had passed all current drug tests. But, now this? I honestly hope this isn’t true. But who knows…
