Yes, it’s only 12:30 a.m., but this is too priceless to not post any longer.
Anyway, I’m currently reading Redemption Song: The Ballad of Joe Strummer. It’s an unbelievable read and I definitely recommend it to anyone even remotely interest in Joe Strummer or even the musical era of the late 1970s.
Anyhow, the book details much of Joe’s post Clash career. Shortly after the band folded, Strummer wrote a song for the movie that would eventually become known as Sid and Nancy. The song “Love Kills” was accompanied by a music video. The video features Gary Oldman as Sid Vicious and Strummer as a police officer.It’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.
I doubt many have ever seen it…
