Vampire Weekend records new songs…

Indie rock’s next great heroes Vampire Weekend are the latest band to partake in the Daytrotter Session series.

Along performances of two songs that appeared on their debut EP, the band also recorded two previously unreleased songs: “I Stand Corrected” and “M 79″.Though they’re currently touring in Europe, Vampire Weekend will be back in the states to play a slate of shows at the end of November. Among them is a charity show with Tokyo Police Club and Ra Ra Riot in Boston.
