Album Review: Ryan Adams - Follow the Lights
Ryan Adams newest EP Follow the Lights is pretty much a medley of different songs. The EP contains three new songs, a cover of Alice in Chains “Down in a Hole” and four live studio recordings of previously released songs.
The obvious highlight of the three new songs is “Follow the Lights”, a Kinks-esque, beautiful song that is already a gem in his already unbelievable collection of master pieces. The recording of “This Is It” with The Cardinals is also a highlight. The song sounds much better as an acoustic tune and the lyrics are able to shine more than ever over the music.
