Watch: Sufjan Stevens practices The BQE
The premier of Sufjan Stevens’ new project entitled The BQE is just about a week away. Stevens will perform the “symphonic and cinematic exploration” of New York City’s Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, which features an original film and orchestral composition by the talented, young musician between November 1-3 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
For all those who don’t have tickets to the sold out event, a youtube video has surfaced featuring Sufjan’s orchestra rehearsing his 30 minute composition. Sufjan is in the back playing piano.
