The Mighty Mighty Bosstones announce some stuff
After announcing a slate of December comeback shows only to find the shows’ tickets going for hundreds of dollars on eBay, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones have added another post-Christmas, pre-New Years show. Well actually, a New Years Eve Show - as announced by the band:
Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Throwdown the fastest selling in Bosstones history!!! (No thanks to the bottom-feeding, greedy scalpers who also pitched in). We are going to add a New England area New Year’s Eve show shortly. This show will be in a larger venue…Please stand by for more info
For those attending the 10th Annual “Throwdown Shows,” the word is that one of the openers will be The Bouncing Souls. However, I’m not sure about which date yet.
Also, the Bosstones will be recording some new material.
The Bosstones are going into the studio to record three new songs, and they plan to release them (along with previously unreleased material and vinyl B-sides) on a CD called Medium Rare before the Throwdown.
