For fans of the early 1990s Boston punk scene or just those who enjoy some solid rock and roll with smart lyrics and, check out Death & Taxes.

Formed by former Bruisers guitarist/vocalist Jeff Morris and bassist Mike Savitkas the band has been playing in around the Boston area since their conception a little over a two years ago. While they compare themselves to the Bruisers meet Social Distortion, there sound has a more classic rock feel, which is easy on the ears. Nearly every piece I’ve read written about both the band and their upcoming album has been filled with nothing but acclaim.
The band is set to release their debut full-length album Tattooed Hearts & Broken Promises on December 11 via I Scream Records. They also have a slew of upcoming Northeast dates that you can check out along with other band related info on their Myspace.
