The White Stripes collaborate with Beck; reveal new single…
As previously reported, The White Stripes have recored three news songs.
Today, Jack and Meg White announced that the three new tracks will be included on the band’s third single “Conquest” off their latest album Icky Thump. Even more surprising, it was revealed that Beck has co-produced the new material and even appears as a guest vocalist on “It’s My Fault For Being Famous”.
The single is set for release on December 18 in the U.S. and December 31 in the U.K. There will be three different “colored” vinyl releases with each one that featuring the single and one b-side. All three b-sides along with two versions of “Conquest” will appear on a “Digital Maxi Single” as well.
A music video for the song will also be released…
