No Radiohead, Bowie for Coachella?

We’ve all seen the apparent “leaked” Coachella 2008 lineup, which was quickly deemed a hoax. Well, two of the headliners on the fake lineup and particular fan favorites apparently will not be appearing at the festival.

In response to the fake lineup, the Editor of David Bowie’s official website has stated that the English musician, as of now, is not playing the California festival.

I can’t speak for any of the other proposed acts, but I can tell you that David Bowie is not performing at Coachella 2008.

In the event that he does decide to resume live work in the future, you’ll hear about it here first…anything else is just rumours and lies, etc.

Also according to Billboard, Radiohead won’t begin their upcoming U.S. tour until May of 2008.

“We plan to tour next year, starting in May through to probably the end of the year. With lots of holidays in that period,” says Bryce Edge of Courtyard Management, the firm that manages the band.

That doesn’t quite coincide with the April 25, 26, 27 dates of Coachella. But then again, who knows?

And wait…no My Bloody Valentine?
