2007’s Top 50 Albums: #46 - Era Vulgaris

#46 - Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris

Queens of the Stone Age’s fifth studio album received positive reviews from most music outlets, which it certainly deserved. The darkest album of the band’s discography featured a blend of heavy rock and blues that exemplified the band’s increasingly diverse sound. Just look at the differences between singles “Sick, Sick, Sick” and “Make It With Chu” as an example. Era Vulgaris was one of the best mainstream releases of 2007 and should be considered in the upper echelon on band’s released work.
