2007’s Top 50 Albums: #42 - Our Love to Admire

#42 - Interpol - Our Love to Admire

Lets be honest. Interpol’s 2004’s album Antics was a tough act to follow. Yet the band gave it a pretty good shot with Our Love to Admire. While by no means spectacular, the album’s more experimental nature added with the band’s immense talent to produce powerful, emotional sounds are what makes Our Love to Admire a good listen. Album highlights include “The Heinrich Maneuver” and “All Fired Up”. Interpol is one of those bands that will never probably never make a bad album. They’re just too talented. Their problem though is they will always have to live up to Antics.
