#36 - Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam

Animal Collective have made some amazing music. over their seven+ years existence. Their music is beyond experimental, it’s perhaps some of the most unique sounds currently out there. And it’s this sound that once again is the basis for another excellent AC album, 2007’s Strawberry Jam. But it’s also more melodic and less noisy than past work and certainly one of their better “pleasing on the ears” album. Highlights include “Peacebone” and the “”For Reverend Green”. My one gripe is there isn’t enough Panda Bear!
