#35 – Art Brut – It’s a Bit Complicated

Art Brut continues to churn out albums that are more satirical than anything else. And this is certainly the case of their 2007 release of It’s a Bit Complicated. Yes, the album has Art Brut’s norm catchy rifts and the unique single styles of front man Simon Goddard, but in the end, it’s it head-bobbing witty entertainment and it’s this that separates Art Brut apart from most in the music world. Highlights include the dare I say melodic “People In Love” and the particularly witty “Jealous Guy”. The album is a bit too short though…
