LCD, Arcade Fire release 7″

The long awaited LCD Soundsystem and Arcade Fire 7″ split has been officially released and can be ordered via DFA Records. The 7″ will not be released in stores.

The collaboration features LCD Soundsystem covering Joy Division’s “No Love Lost,” while Arcade Fire covers a song written by French musician Serge Gainsbourg. AF’s song is particularly strong and offers a much different sound than we have been accustomed to over the last couple of years. My attitude toward them has waned in the last couple months, but it’s hard to deny the quality of this track.
