For all those in the New York City area, Fordham University’s legendary radio station WFUV will be holding it’s third annual Holiday Cheer at The Concert Hall at the New York Society for Ethical Culture on Thursday, De
cember 13 at 8:00pm.
Loudon Wainwright III, Madeleine Peyroux, Dan Wilson, Suzanne Vega and Odetta will perform at the third annual Holiday Cheer For ‘FUV Concert, a benefit for noncommercial radio station WFUV (90.7 FM, wfuv.org). Taking place on Thursday, December 13 at 8:00 PM at The Concert Hall at the New York Society for Ethical Culture (2 West 64th Street at Central Park West), the concert is produced by Metropolitan Talent Presents. Tickets are $75 and will be available through Ticketmaster (ticketmaster.com or 212.307.7171). VIP tickets are $250 and include a pre-concert reception with the WFUV staff. $500 tickets include a pre-concert reception and front row seating.
I know it’s pretty short notice, but I was just forwarded the press release and I figured it might be of some interest, especially after seeing some of the scheduled performers.
