Spin Magazine has revealed their list of the Top 40 Albums of 2007 and it is certainly full of surprises…

Against Me! at #1? Now that’s called making a splash. I had them at #41, but definitely can see the rational for ranking them higher. Springsteen comes in at a surprising #18 despite the magazine’s love for him. But then again, Bruce does love himself some Against Me! And Spin reminded me that Lily Allen’s debut album Alright, Still… did technically hit U.S. shelves in January. I loved the album and totally neglected her in my list. And for that I’m sorry.
