Biggest surprise? The National at #17? Arcade Fire at #27? Seems to me Pitchfork is making a statement. Or maybe as Stereogum puts it, “Sometimes they make it too easy to draw that ‘you’re popular, so we’ll keep a slight distance lest we seem populist.’”

1. LCD Soundsystem - “All My Friends”
2. Battles - “Atlas”
3. Panda Bear - “Bros”
4. M.I.A. [ft. Bun B and Rich Boy] - “Paper Planes (Remix)”
5. Rihanna [ft. Jay-Z] - “Umbrella”

LCD Soundsystem is sure getting a lot of love. Where will they be on our list? In other list related news, Carl Sandburg Visits Me In A Dream is counting down their Top 20 albums of 2007. So is Obscure Sound . And Vague Space has listed their Top 100 songs.
