Led Zeppelin to headline Bonnaroo? (Part II)

There were rumors that were eventually “quashed”. And as more news broke, the Led Zeppelin at Bonnaroo 2008 possibility seemed to become increasingly unrealistic. Well, until today.

We can exclusively reveal that the legends - who staged a triumphant “one-off” gig at the O2 this month - will be the headline act at the Bonnaroo festival in the US next year.

The festival runs from June 12 to 15 in Tennessee - and if all goes smoothly they may even hit the road and tour.

The Daily Mirror? Seems like a reputable source to me. Blabbermouth is also linking to the story. I honestly don’t know what to think. I originally did believe that Led Zeppelin would play Bonnaroo, but then I read the endless denials and stories that Plant wanted to finish a tour with Alison Krauss before committing to anything. Is it true? Who knows…but I’m beginning to think yes more than no.
