Radiohead to tour North America

In what has been a dry, sparse nine days, Radiohead seems to put things in perspective for us this year, with the confirmation of a U.S. tour.

Atlanta
Boston
Charlotte
Chicago
Cleveland
Dallas
Houston
Indianapolis
Los Angeles
Miami
Montreal
New York
Philadelphia
San Diego
San Francisco
Santa Barbara
Seattle
St. Louis
Tampa
Toronto
Vancouver
Washington, DC

The cities listed above will be graced by the men of Radiohead in two waves, the first popping off before that oft-reported European jaunt (which begins June 6), and the second taking place sometime after said jaunt ends (on July 8).

This is pretty exciting news, especially for those who missed out on their short stint (including a “life changing” performance at Bonnaroo) in the summer of 2006. Was your city left out? You can always watch Scotch Mist over again.

More information to come as the juice is squeezed.

added by Alex: I noticed neither Indio, California nor Manchester, Tennessee on this list. Might be good news for all those Radiohead fans who’d like to see the band at a certain Chicago festival in August…
