The world’s most eccentric musician Tim Fite has a pretty big 2008 lined up already. He has announced to Brooklyn Vegan that he will release a new album via ANTI- records. No word on whether it will be free like a lot of Fite’s recent releases.

Currently, the Brooklynite/gentleman with itchy legs has just one show scheduled (January in Brooklyn) though more are likely on the way with the release of the new album.

Oh, and Fite also took the time to reveal a pretty fascinating piece of news.

Due to a height surpluss left over from 2007,
everyone will grow one millionth of an inch taller in
the month of february.

All this coming after a successful summer tour with Ben Kweller and a free Halloween giveaway.

On a personal note, I just have to say, Fite is quickly becoming one of my favorite musicians and if you’ve never experienced the wrath of him live, well you haven’t lived life.
