Lollapalooza 2008 by the Lollaboard
I don’t think I can emphasize this enough. This is not the real Lollapalooza 2008 lineup, nor does it really give any real hints as to who might make an appearance. The below schedule was determined through a collective effort on the Lollapalooza.com message boards. In other words, realistic bands (still in existence, have a new album coming out, etc.) were nominated and voted on by members.
I figured this post could serve as somewhat of an example as to what people are expecting/hoping to see at this year’s festival. Again, this is not real.
As of now, the only somewhat confirmed artist for the real Lollapalooza is Rhymefest. Head on over to our Summer Festival Outlook to see the rest of the rumors.

Just wanted to share my new experience.
If your Windows XP denies to start due to an error corresponding to lost HAL.DLL, invalid Boot.ini or any other critical system boot files you can fix this by using the XP installation CD. Simply boot from your XP Setup CD and enter the Recovery Console. Then launch “attrib -H -R -S” on the C:\Boot.ini file and delete it. Launch “Bootcfg /Rebuild” and then Fixboot

hehe I can’t believe it. did enyone else see festivals coming in 2008 like pemberton and the virgins? the rise in the canadian dollar compared to the american is the only way to get these big promoters up here i guess.

This lineup is gonna blow they have all the good bands that are washed up and old and have no new songs that have come out in the past few years. Im sorry but the Beatie Boys use to be good and the last time I heard of Presidents of USA was there song peaches If you are looking to go to Lolla dont go this year instead go to Rothburry where they have 311, Snoop, Slightly Stoopid, DMB, Keller, Citizen Cope and many better bands

I’m going to have to disagree with you. There have been a number of confirmed bands and pre-sale tickets could go on sale as soon as next week.
Can eveyone stop speculating who will be playing Lolla? It’s useless and just confuses a lot of people who are trying to plan their summer.

My sources say the event MIGHT be cancelled for a variety of reasons, including the fact that no lineup has been announced (while most the other major fests have), the economy plus the fact that there are three new major rock festivals in the northeast/great lakes region around the same time.
My bet is that WHEN and IF the lineup is announced, it will be too late, ticket sales will crumbled and they will cancel the event like they did in 2005.
