Coachella is “so hot”

Golden Voice, the folks who plan Coachella, recently posted a bulletin that sheds little if any light on this year’s lineup.

So why do I post this? No particular reason other than it provides me a good segue to post the abundance of new Coachella rumors that are popping up.

Kevin Bronson at the LA Times offered some pretty interesting details last night. Perhaps most noteworthy from the piece is that a Coachella announcement will apparently take place sometime next week. Bronson also wrote that My Bloody Valentine will not be appearing, while Justice, Dan Deacon, Battles, Louis XIV, and Jens Lekman are all likely. Whether Bronson is right or not remains to be seen, though if the other bands he deemed as “confirmed” give any indication (all have been on CoS’ Coachella Outlook for over a week), then he’s likely correct.

You can also add Tegan & Sara, Man Man, and Les Savy Fav to the list of rumored acts. All three bands will be in or around Los Angeles during Coachella weekend.
