2008 Summer Festival Outlook (Part X)
I’d like to thank everyone who has been checking out our Summer Festival Outlook page frequently and who have been spreading the word. I also very much appreciate the confirmation and recommendation emails. Keep them coming!
With that being said, the Outlook page is getting quite long. So I figured instead of posting the entire page/list of individual festival rumors as an update, I’ll just start posting daily additions for each festival. You can head over to our master list to check out each festival and their full list of confirmations and rumors.

What’s New?
- Cafe Tacuba, Lisa D Amato, and YB have all been confirmed for Coachella. Man Man, My Morning Jacket, Tegan and Sara, and The Gutter Twins are all hot rumors.
- There’s also word that the initial Coachella lineup will be announced on January 22.
- Due to popular request, the Langerado festival and the new unnamed NYC festival have been added to our outlook.
- Gang of Four at Sasquatch? That’s the rumor.
- N.E.R.D, Dizzie Rascal, Dolly Parton, Simian Mobile Disco, Color Revolt, The Aggrolites, Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin, Shout out out out out, Parts & Labor, Maps & Atlases, Liam Finn, and Kimya Dawson will all be at SXSW.
- SXSW is also now accepting volunteer applications.
- Railroad Earth are playing Summerfest.
