Bruce Springsteen has plans for 2008

Bruce Springsteen has been a pretty busy man of late. Just in the last six months, he released Magic, hung with Arcade Fire, and went on a worldwide tour. Fortunately for fans, it looks like in 2008, Springsteen and the E Street Band will be just as active.

The third and fourth legs of his massive tour continue in 2008, which include three scheduled shows at Giants Stadium in the States (more probably on the way) and a gig at Milennium Stadium in the U.K.

In terms of potential 2008 releases, there are rumors of another new album. Also a new live album/dvd. And on top of that, there’s always hope for the electric version of Nebraska.

But why talk about rumors when Springsteen already has one release under his belt for the new year. This past Tuesday, the “Girls in Their Summer Clothes” EP was released (via iTunes). The EP features a new video and “Winter Mix” of the song along with a recent audio concert performance.
