Coachella 2008 Initial Official Lineup

Here we go, folks…

Final Update:

A majority of Coachella 2008’s lineup has now been officially revealed. Check out the official poster (via Coachella’s myspace) below. Tickets go on sale Saturday.

Articles and analysis are popping up everywhere. For example, The LA Times, Brooklyn Vegan, and The Boston Herald.

Also keep checking out our Summer Festival Outlook. It will be updated as more bands are announced not just for Coachella, but every major U.S. festival.

Disappointed? After actually having some time to give it a closer look, it’s really not that bad. Sure the headliners are a little sub par, but there are some great mid-size bands. But where did Goldfrapp go?

  2. Thanks. This is insane. We’re trying to keep up.

  3. no problem. they’re saying the official poster should be up any minute now, so dont work too hard

  4. ya i’m slowing down.

  5. This poster could be fake. It says “The Annuals” and the name of the band is just “Annuals.” They never get these details wrong in the real thing.

  6. This is lackluster, really.

I know, I know.. I shouldn’t complain, but this is really underwhelming compared to last year. Waters has been doing his Dark Side act for a year or so now.

  7. Jack Johnson? really? ::shakes head::

The majority festival is looking pretty good, but its really lacking any “bite”.

I can tell you this, The festival won’t be selling out two months before the festival this year like it did last year.

  8. I’ve gone to coachella the last 2 years and this is the worst coachella lineup that i can remember, and it is not just the insult of a headliner that is jack johnson overall the lineup is very dissapointing with a few exceptions, this was supposed to be a great happy day and it all turned to shit, i rather spend a few extra dollars and travel to a european festival with a much better lineup, I guess they are going a different musical direction, this sucks………

  9. Nothing I haven’t seen or would travel to CA for.
