The Streets has plans for 2008
Mike Skinner has a pretty full slate in the upcoming months. To begin with, the hip-hop star, who is more commonly known by his stage name The Streets, has a new album coming out in April via 679 Recordings.
“It was quite well written and the rhyming was really good from a rap point of view but you were just left kind of empty so there wasn’t much to really stimulate people. So I got rid of about 80 percent of the songs on the album and then started again.”

Skinner currently has only one confirmed appearance, a Sunday set at Coachella. He also recently laid to rest his record label The Beats.
