Wakarusa 2008 lineup additions
The Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival has announced 28 more artist who will be appearing at this year’s festival.
Wakarusa is extremely pleased to welcome the following artist to the 2008 lineup: Zappa Plays Zappa, Mickey Hart Band featuring Steve Kimock & George Porter Jr., Everyone Orchestra, Porter, Batiste & Stoltz, Del the Funkyhomosapien, Ivan Neveille’s Dumpstaphunk, Pangea featuring Chris Berry and Michael Kang, EOTO featuring Michael Travis and Jason Hann, Arrested Development, Tilly and the Wall, Pete Francis of Dispatch, DVJ Mike Relm, Apollo Sunshine, The Dynamites featuring Charles Walker, Donna the Buffalo, Limbeck, Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise, Delta Nove, Ryan Bingham, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Truckstop Honeymoon, South Austin Jug Band, Backdoor Slam, Macpodz and Bump. CAKE, Porter Batiste Stoltz & Dumpstaphunk!! My life is practically complete!!
I’m checking out a bunch of these bands before Wakarusa though.
I justt saw CAKE perform in NYC last month! I heart them sooo much! I’d never seen them before, and I can’t wait to see them again.
I know I am going to see Porter Batiste Stoltz in San Diego at Winston’s the end of this month!! They are going to be on the west coast all month! I’m so pumped that they are going to be at Wakarusa!
Are there any other bands people would like to recommend shows for? Keep me posted!
