Watch: Super Furry Animals on Letterman

Supper Furry Animals appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman this past Thursday to perform the song “Neo Consumer” off their 2007 album Hey Venus!

The line of the night came during Letterman’s introduction of the band: “Our next guests are an acclaimed Welsh rock and roll band…well that explains it.”

The band is currently on tour in the U.S. The Washington Post said just yesterday:

For all their catchiness, the Super Furry Animals still show glimmers of irreverence: “Baby Ate My Eightball” tells the story of an infant’s foray into drugs, while “Suckers!” is a hazy ballad about fools all around us. Originally released last year, “Hey Venus!” has been reissued with bonus tracks, which enhance the original album: “These Bones” boasts a bold beat, while “Aluminum Illuminati” toys with a booming, dance-inducing swagger.
