We Are Scientists have plans for 2008

After the tremendous success of With Love and Squalor, We Are Scientists return in 2008 with a new album and tour dates. Scheduled for release on March 18, Brain Thrust Mastery, will be the band second major label release. Details of the album have been quite hush hush, but the UK natives did have the following to say about the album and the accompanying improvisational shows.

The album’s first single “After Hours” (stream here) will be released on March 3. It’s accompanying music video was released this past week.

We Are Scientists will embark on a European tour come April - minus drummer Michael Tapper, who left the band in November. U.S. dates may come later in the Summer…
