Pumpkins return to tour

Last week, Billy Corgan and his reformed alt. rock. band, the Smashing Pumpkins, took the stage for another round of shows. This time overseas.

So far, the set lists have been anything but disappointing. These are the Pumpkins in good form, with a perfect blend of new and old, which is fortunate for those not really “digging” the new Zeitgeist material.

The January 31st show at Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria is one particular show that’s caught my eye. Not only do they play “Mayonaise” and the best rendition of “United States” to date, but there are also a handful of other ear warmers that should hold you over until the band snakes it’s way back to your own town or villa.

Villa? Hah.

The bootlegs for this show were provided by some devoted fans, courtesy of Netphoria.org. Files are in .rar format.
