Watch: Pixies frontman plays under bridge
Pixies frontman Frank Black (aka Black Francis) performed one of his increasingly popular “precore” sets underneath the Bridge of Sighs in Oxford prior to his show at Oxford Brookes University last night. Rather than doing encores, Black, currently on a solo tour in Europe, prefers to do these intimate, acoustic pre-show performances instead.
Frank apparently was also busking around Oxford. Whatever that means…

Frank this is funny, I believe you have the heart of a comedian, in addition to legendary songwriting skills. In some weird way this has the feel of a college lecture from professor Frank !!!

Why is this psychotic? He is a great artist who is choosing to perform how he wants.
Have you ever seen him or the Pixies live? I have, and take it from me, those people under that bridge last night got a performance of a lifetime.
