STP to headline Rock on the Range
The lineup for the 2nd Annual Rock on the Range Music Festival is expected to be announced
this upcoming Monday. The festival takes place between May 17 and 18 in Columbus, Ohio.
Stone Temple Pilots have been all but confirmed as this year’s headliner, which would be their first performance together in almost seven years. Scott Weiland’s current rehab stint is not expect to impact the reunion.
Papa Roach are also reportedly confirmed to appear. A full list of rumored bands after the jump…
The festival recently updated it’s “Top Friends List” on Myspace to include these bands:
Killswitch Engage, Rev Theory, 3 Doors Down, SEVENDUST, Black Tide, Flyleaf, Black Stone, Cherry, Buckcherry, Default, Stone Temple Pilots, Seether, Finger Eleven, Papa Roach, Theory of a Deadman, RED, BobaFlex, Airbourne, Filter, Alter Bridge, Serj Tankian, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin
The same action was done prior to last year’s announcement and all the bands appearing as “friends” were part of the 2007 lineup. The current “Top Friends List” has since been removed…

Is Three Days Grace Playing at Rock on the Range in columbus?
OMG i loved it there last year and ready to go again,so do you know how much tickets are, and when they go on sale?
That would be an amazing show. Black Stone Cherry is one of the best live bands I’ve seen in recent years, and BobaFlex’s CD is awesome. And AIRBOURNE? Man, those guys are the best thing from Australia since AC/DC! Wow, looks like I might be wanting to go to this one.
