The Eagles to play Stagecoach
Goldenvoice has announced that the Eagles will headline the newly added third day (Friday, May 2) of the 2008 Stagecoach Music Festival.
The Eagles–Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit–will perform current hits from their new album, Long Road Out of Eden, including the Grammy-award winning “How Long” (“Best Country Performance by Duo or Group”) and “Busy Being Fabulous,” as well as classic songs from their 30-year career.
Others scheduled to take part on Friday include: John Fogerty, Trisha Yearwood, Shelby Lynne, Glen Campbell & Family, Shooter Jennings, Rissi Palmer, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Chuck Wicks, Sons Of The San Joaquin and Don Edwards.
However, it looks as if current ticket holders will have to fork over additional cash for admission to the Friday portion of the festival.
Music fans who already purchased STAGECOACH tickets will be contacted directly and offered advance single Friday general admission upgrades for $65, plus applicable fees or single day reserved upgrades for $195, plus applicable fees. Upgrades will be available now through February 22.
Something just doesn’t seem right about that…
