The Mysterious Ruthbury Festival
We first heard rumors about a new music festival while floating around the Coachella forum. Today, Madison House Presents and AEG Live revealed plans for the inaugural Rothbury Music Festival. Set to take place in Rothbury, Michigan between July 3-6, a good portion of the festival’s lineup has already been released.

Dave Matthews Band + Widespread Panic + John Mayer + 311 + Phil Lesh and Friends + Primus + Thievery Corporation + Snoop Dogg + Modest Mouse + Michael Franti and Spearhead + Gov’t Mule + Slightly Stoopid + STS9 + Colbie Caillat + The Black Keys + Yonder Mountain String Band with Jon Fishman + Gogol Bordello + Citizen Cope + Keller Williams and The WMD’S + The Disco Biscuits+ Medeski Martin & Wood + Ray LaMontagne + Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Soul Stew Revival + Drive-By Truckers + Of Montreal + The Dresden Dolls + Gomez + Brett Dennen + Taj Mahal + Mike Gordon + Zappa Plays Zappa
Beyond the music, organizers have established the Rothbury Think Tank, which will foster discussions and seminars about climate change and clean energy solutions. The Think Tank is being curated by DR. Stephen H. Schneider.
In addition, the event will feature an Energy Fair and will donate a minimum of $50,000 worth of solar panels to a local school.

this show is goin to be so ragein its unreal well hope to see alot of the same people i see at every festival! be safe and party hard.
Im from Michigan and this is refreshing. Sadly I wont be in Michigan (actually really happy about that) but its sweet and a surprisingly deep lineup.
