Vedder goes into the Wild

In an unusual move, Eddie Vedder plans to tour soon and without his backing band. The Pearl Jam frontman has released a short side dish of dates, which will plug his latest release, the soundtrack Into the Wild.

This should be interesting. Considering Pearl Jam’s headliner slot at Bonnaroo and the album’s breezy length (33:04), Vedder has some time to manage and set list space to fill. Though, I doubt that the latter will be a problem. It’s not like he doesn’t have a certain discography to choose from. In the meantime, here are a couple of videos that have been promoting both the soundtrack and the film:

“Guaranteed”

“Hard Sun”
