Primavera Sound 2008
While we don’t spend much time covering those summer music festivals across the pond, it’s always nice to compare and contrast. Primavera, which revealed it’s full lineup for 2008 this past weekend, is particularly important as it takes place a week after Sasquatch!

In other words, Primavera may give some indictation as to who won’t be at Sasquatch! this year. British Sea Power, Cat Power, Voxtrot, Okkervil River, Vampire Weekend, Dirty Projectors? Some pretty big names…
Then again as Chris pointed out below, bands have appeared at both festivals in the past..
In other European festival related news, tickets to T in the Park 2008 sold out in less than a hour.

Just to continue the thread both Stephane Malkmus & the Jicks and Okkervil River are playing both. Would have loved to see Vampire Weekend and MGMT play Sasquatch.
Well lets hope your right.
I don’t find it that hard to imagine those bands playing at the Sasquatch! Festival - in fact, these festivals have been on back to back weekends for the last couple years and several bands (flaming lips, constantines, grizzly bear, bad brains, etc.) managed to play both festivals. It is possible to fly from Seattle to Barcelona in 12 hours.
