Atmosphere, the self-proclaimed hardest working duo in hip-hop, are set to release their new album When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold on April 22 via Epitaph.

When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold, will mark Atmosphere’s most complete album to date.  Recorded in the dead of Winter, and influenced by fatherhood, Slug’s storytelling and ant’s lush melodies have never been more poignant. A limited edition run of When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold will be packaged as a 40 page hard cover black fabric book with gold embossing. In addition to lyrics, credits and an illustrated children’s story written by Slug, the deluxe package will include a bonus DVD with over an hour of live footage and extras from the final shows of the Everybody Loves A Clown tour shot at First Avenue nightclub in Minneapolis, with Dolby 5.1 surround audio.

Slug and Ant are also busy at work answering user submitted questions in their new video series. Atmosphere begin their U.S. tour in May (dates after the jump…), which includes a stop at SXSW.
