Bob Dylan, Jack White collaborate

Bob Dylan has enlisted the help of Jack White for his upcoming Hank Williams project. White reportedly finished and recorded a William’s song called “You Know That I Know.”

“[Bob] came upon, somehow, 20-25 unfinished songs by Hank Williams, just the lyrics, no music, and he started to ask people if they would finish these songs. He did one [himself], asked Willie Nelson to do one, asked me to do one, and I think Lucinda Williams and Alan Jackson are on it too. I think it might come out this year. It’s a cool record.”

No word on the title or release date of the project. This is not the first time that Dylan and White have collaborated. White has hinted that he also has another project in the works

One Response to “Bob Dylan, Jack White collaborate”

  1. It’s going to be a very interesting record to be sure. But then again I guess anything Dylan gets involve with is.

Since it sound like you’re a fan, I thought I’d introduce you to my new novel, BLOOD ON THE TRACKS, which I think you’d enjoy.

It’s a murder-mystery. But not just any rock superstar is knocking on heaven’s door. The murdered rock legend is none other than Bob Dorian, an enigmatic, obtuse, inscrutable, well, you get the picture…

Suspects? Tons of them. The only problem is they’re all characters in Bob’s songs.

You can get a copy on Amazon.com or go “behind the tracks” at http://www.bloodonthetracksnovel.com to learn more about the book.
