More Sasquatch! additions?

Just my luck. The same day we post about the problems that result because of fake lineups and posters, I find myself staring at one that may fit the definition…

But then again, it may not…

—

The questionable poster comes The Creature Speaks, which was originally found by the Sasquatch! Blog.

Why it may not be real? It features a different lineup than the one announced on Monday. This poster includes the additions of Ryan Adams, Vampire Weekend, Elbow, Yeasayer, and Stereolab, while missing some of the smaller names currently announced. Plus, it advertises the festival as only a two day event…

Why it may be real? The poster features original artwork and is accurate when it comes to the performers listed by date. What more, the additions aren’t all that unrealistic. And there will likely be comedians at Sasquatch!…

Final verdict? We’ll keep doing research and while we can’t yet say if it’s real or not, this poster may very well tell us who will be added to this year’s lineup. Or it could just be that this was the a rough draft of the lineup from months ago…

  1. I think it’s obviously an old poster, as evidenced mainly from the fact that it lists it as a 2 day event. Also, Vampire Weekend are in Europe over Memorial Day Weekend, so they’re not coming.

  2. no hives on that poster? say it isn’t so.

  3. Ah man teasing me with Ryan Adams and Elbow is so unfair… that’d clinch it for me. I hope someone explains this ASAP.

  4. [...] that poster we posted about earlier? We’re beginning to think it’s likely a fake…  Either [...]
