Watch: Heath Ledger’s Nick Drake project
Before his unfortunate and unexpected death, Heath Ledger created a film honoring the legacy of musician Nick Drake. Ledger directed a video for Drake’s song “Black Eyed Dog,” one the final pieces written by the young singer/songwriter before his own untimely death.
The video was shown as part of a story detailing the eerily similar tragedies of the two men on A Current Affair.
Ledger was a self-proclaimed huge fan of Drake…
“I was obsessed with his story and his music and I pursued it for a while and still have hopes to kind of tell his story one day,” a soft-spoken and fidgety Ledger told the assembled media, though he also said that any such aspirations had “faded away.”
