V Festival 2008 Initial Lineup
The 13th annual V Festival has revealed its 2008 lineup. The festival takes 
place between August 15-16, 2008 in England and is held simultaneously at two sites - Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Stafford.
V STAGE: MUSE - THE VERVE - KINGS OF LEON - STEREOPHONICS - AMY WINEHOUSE - THE KOOKS - MAXIMO PARK - LENNY KRAVITZ - THE FEELING - ALANIS MORISETTE - GIRLS ALOUD - THE FUTURE HEADS - SQUEEZE
CHANNEL 4 STAGE: THE PRODIGY - KAISER CHIEFS - THE PIGEON DETECTIVES - THE ZUTONS - NEWTON FAULKNER - THE VIEW - THE HOOSIERS - REVEREND AND THE MAKERS - DUFFY - SCOUTING FOR GIRLS - AMY MACDONALD - SHED SEVEN - THE COURTEENERS
JJB ARENA: IAN BROWN - THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS - THE POGUES - THE CHARLATANS - JAMIE T - HOT CHIP - TRAVIS - THE TWANG - SUGABABES - DAVID JORDAN - ROBYN
60 more bands will be announced at later dates. Tickets go on sale March 7.
Other rumored acts include Paul Weller, Goldfrapp, Hard-Fi, Panic at the Disco, The Enemy, and Palladium.
The lineup is technically supposed to be revealed later today on Virgin Radio.
For U.S. festival goers, expect some overlap between this and Baltimore’s Virgin Festival. After all, bands like the Fratellis, Paolo Nutini, and Keane have appeared at both festivals over the last couple of years.

Keane were booked for the 1st Virgin Festival but did not play because the singer went to rehab. Not that that disproves yr point or anything.
