Summer Festival Outlook (Part XVI)

There has been a lot in the area of additions over the last few days. What better way than to recap them than in our Summer Festival Outlook?

Coachella 2008:

Serj Tankian (of System of a Down), Above and Beyond, and  Yelle have all been added in the last week. Unfortunately, Madness will not be appearing at this year’s Coachella.

Sasquatch! 2008:

Aside from yesterday’s addition of the Mars Volta there have been no other changes to the lineup, though Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Yeasayer, and the Helio Sequence are all expected to be added soon. Still no word on the status of the Presidents of the United States.

Bonnaroo 2008:

The Wood Brothers are the most recent confirmation to the lineup. Dead Confederate is also rumored. All this comes after the first round of lineup additions.

Summerfest 2008:

While an official lineup has yet to be released, the Jonas Brothers, Keller Williams, Miranda Lambert, and Poor J are the latest musicians who have confirmed scheduled appearances at the Milwaukee festival.

Lollapalooza 2008:

No leaks in the last week or so, though the Black Lips, Bang Camaro, Coldplay, and Wilco are amount the current rumors floating around. We should get a lineup announcement in the next week or so.

ACL 2008:

Don’t be too surprised if the Raconteurs and Drive By Truckers are two of the bands performing at this year’s ACL…
