Danger Mouse helps out Beck on new album
Earlier this month, Beck Hansen revealed that he was currently recording a new album with a certain unnamed producer. Today, HARP Magazine confirmed that this secret collaborator was none other than Gnarl Barkley’s Danger Mouse.

According to HARP Magazine, and confirmed by Danger Mouse’s management, the one-half wonder of Gnarls Barkley will be producing the next Beck album. This is, of course, in addition to the releases by Ike Turner (RIP), The Black Keys, MF Doom, Martina Topley-Bird, and probably some supergroup featuring only dead rockstars–all set to debut in 2008. (Except for the dead rock star supergroup, that one we just made up.)
Aside from all this producing work, Danger Mouse also has a new album on the way. This new album will mark Beck’s second major record release of the year.
No word on what else is on the way for Beck, though we expect some summer tour dates. He is already confirmed for this year’s Rock Werchter.
He also recently release a new video for the song “Timebomb.”
