Jesse Malin preps new compilation album
As we mentioned some time ago, New York’s favorite punk frontman turned folky
singer/songwriter Jesse Malin has been working on a new album dedicated completely to covers. Yesterday, Malin announced the album, entitled On Your Sleeve, is finished and will be released on April 7 in the U.K. and Europe via Little Indian Records.
The Clash, The Hold Steady, Lou Reed, and Elton John are just a few of the names covered on Malin’s latest effort. Notable absences? Bruce Springsteen?
No word on a U.S. release, but diehards can still pre-order and pay the extra shipping.
