Arctic Monkeys swing on three
The English band that everyone seems to go apeshit over (no pun intended) are coming back with a
third release, apparently due out later this year. This would seem to follow the band’s consistent trend of annual album releases, which started with their debut in 2006 and continued last year with Favourite Worst Nightmare. Sources close to Alex Turner reveal this might be the case…
“A lot of people were surprised to see Arctics at the Brits as it’s usually the kind of event they steer clear of.
“The reason they went is because they’ve been down in London working on new material and fancied a night off to relax.
“Alex is overflowing with song ideas and it’s all going so well they’re looking at releasing an album this year.”
Three albums in two years is an impressive feat, even more towering is the fact that they’ve both been critically and commercially successful. It’d be a head turner if this one’s a strike, huh?
