Wanna shoot NIN’s next video?

Trent Reznor is keeping the ball on a roll, announcing a contest that will aspire fans to make videos based on his recent digital exclusive album, Ghost I-IV. Given the recent hoopla involving NIN and Radiohead, this probably will draw comparisons.

The concept is for you to take whatever tracks you feel inspired by from Ghosts… and create what you feel should accompany them visually.

This isn’t a contest and you don’t win elaborate prizes - it’s meant to be an experiment in collaboration and a chance for us to interact beyond the typical one-way artist-to-fan relationship.

The contest will work alongside with YouTube, who will sponsor the NIN flavored film festival. Considering the entire collection is instrumental, I’m sure film enthusiasts will find something to go along with the music, if they haven’t done so already. No details on when the contest begins or ends yet.

  1. I’m all for both of them doing this, but this entry has the facts wrong, that’s all>>>

Not really, but I changed it to settle your indigestion. Haha.

  2. there is no Radiohead/NIN feud. They are both doing what they want to do with their music, and those things are similar in some regards, and different in others. Thats all their is to it.

  3. I’m not defending anyone. I’m all for both of them doing this, but this entry has the facts wrong, that’s all

  4. Oh, did he? This whole Radiohead/NIN feud is ridiculous anyway… it’s all he said, she said.
