ACL lineup to come April 15

C3 Presents will apparently be revealing the 2008 lineup for Austin City Limits just a week after the Lollapalooza announcement.

C3 Presents booker Charles Attal says the lineup for the 7th annual Austin City Limits Festival will be announced April 15, almost a month earlier than last year. Tickets will not go up then; they’re already selling at a top tier of $170 for all three days, Sept. 26- 28.

Joe Bonamassa, Kevin Fowler, and the Eli Young Band are the only current confirmations for this year’s ACL.

  • Actually, there are very few additions to ACL lineups. Worst case scenario is what happened last year when The White Stripes, Amy Winehouse & Rodridgo y Gabriela all dropped out of the festival too late in the game to really replace them properly. WS and RyG even had aftershows in place.

  • this seems Really early for the festival announcement… I’m assuming it wont be the entire lineup, and there will be a few additions closer to the festival.
