The Dresden Dolls prep new album, tour?
The Dresden Dolls recently revealed that they will be releasing their third full length album, No,
Virginia, on May 20 via Roadrunner Records. The album will include several b-sides and rarities along with recordings of several covers that have previously only been recorded live. (We’re thinking Tammy Wynette’s “Stand By Your Man” and Neutral Milk Hotel’s “Two Headed Boy” as some possibilities.)
Currently, the Boston cabaret duo only has a few scheduled shows, including a stop at the inaugural Rothbury Festival. However, since Brian Viglione will likely be touring with Nine Inch Nails this summer, don’t count on too many more dates being added. But then again, could the Dresden Dolls open for Trent Reznor and company?
