Virgin Mobile Fesitival (Toronto) announces lineup
The initial lineup for Toronto’s version of the Virgin Mobile Festival, set to take place between September 6-7, 2008 in Toronto Island Park, was officially unveiled earlier today. Along with Toronto, there will also be Virgin Festivals in Calgary, Vancouver, and of course, Baltimore.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday via ticketmaster.ca.
No word on when any other lineup additions will come…
Linkin Park are reportedly the headliners for Calgary’s version. How does this stack up to Europe’s V Festival?
That line-up can’t touch the one from baltimore last year. pumpkins, police, velvet revolver, wu tang, incubus, 311… they had better bring some stp, nin, and or ratm if that’s what the line-up is going to look like, cuz that alone wont do very good here. foo fighters are the only real draw and maybe some dormant oasis fans on a nostalgia trip, you’ll have your bloc party faithful, but that’s not enough to put 45,000 ppl in baltimore… baltimore is a rock n roll town… they really need stp and nin with foo & oasis to come close to last year… (it would surpass last year if they pulled that off… lollapalooza is, so come on sir richARD branson)
I can’t wait. This is already looking better than alot of the US fests (no JJ).
OASIS!!! SWEET too bad i just spent all my cash. Oh well.
Oasis, Stereophonics, Bloc Party, Wintersleep…..all SOLID bands!
Hope Calgary’s will be just as good.
