Wilco, STP for Lollapalooza 2008?
With that April 7 announcement quickly approaching, rumors concerning the lineup for this year’s 
Lollapalooza are starting to heat up.
The latest?
While the Wilco rumor has been floating around since Jim DeRogatis over at The Chicago Sun-Times reported that there was a strong likelihood that the Chicago natives would be appearing at Grant Park in early August, today was the first time band actually hinted a possible appearance.
When that tour wraps in mid-May, Wilco will break for a couple of months until late July when they’ll be making their first ever visit to Alaska. Ticket info for those shows (scheduled for July 25/26 in Fairbanks and Anchorage respectively) coming very soon. We’ll also have news shortly about a handful of additional cool/exciting gigs in August (in addition to the already announced SF gig) so keep your eyes and mice peeled.

At this point, I’d be willing to bet quite a bit of money on Wilco appearing at Lollapalooza.
And as if that wasn’t enough, there is now growing speculation that Scott Weiland and the newly reunited Stone Temple Pilots will be appearing at this year’s Lollapalooza as well. After all, just look at the image appearing on their website…
A special announcement on April 7? Could it possibly be about a Lollapalooza appearance? Or is it simply a coincidence? I guess, we’ll find out soon enough…

This is even better. Lolla fest of the year, IF they get who are rumored.
I’m confident Lolla is getting Radiohead, NIN (guy who leaked it, has leaked past 2 yrs correctly), and Wilco.
I’m not quite sure about Rage, tho.
